Quote of the Week

No, I'm not giving the Quote of the Week to Charlie Sheen--even though there's a whole lot of potential material--because it's too obvious and easy. And no, I'm not giving it to Mike Huckabee for his ridiculous pandering to the far-right whackos, because I don't support anyone who takes cheap shots at my girl Natalie--or who generates nonsensical bluster for the sake of a cheap headline (ahem).

Nope, this week's award is going to an under-the-radar gem, one of those lines in one of those stories that you read that just seems too amazingly good to be true. But in Philadelphia, nothing is too far out there to be unbelievable. According to this story, Philly-area pizzeria owner Nickolas Galiatsatos stands accused of planting live mice in his competitors' stores in hopes of getting them shut down or put out of business. Apparently he found mice in his own store, and (delusionally?) blamed his competitors for having placed them there, inspiring him to gain revenge. Interesting theory from a strange, strange man...

This week's QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"I've been at this for 47 years, and I've never seen mice used as a criminal tool."
                                               - Upper Darby (PA) Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood

In case anyone needed any reminders that it's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Nickolas Galiatsatos is here to help. Good times.
